About

Agent Skill Exchange (agentskillexchange.com) is a marketplace for agent skills backed by the agentskillexchange/skills GitHub repo — the canonical catalog of actual skill files with generated indexes, categories, verification status, and installable entries. The site adds browsing, search, skill pages, industry collections, and creation workflows on top of the repo.

The catalog spans the whole agent stack: model/provider skills, runtimes, frameworks, deployment targets, evals, observability, security, and MCP/tooling, with per-skill install instructions (Agent Skills CLI, plugin marketplaces, git clone, or manual copy). A companion agent-skills-resources repo holds guides and best practices.

Limitations: as an aggregator, skill quality varies by contributor and the long tail is lightly reviewed; the download/star figures shown on listings mix upstream repo stats with exchange metrics, so treat popularity as directional. Always read a skill before installing it into an agent with tool access.
