About
AI Comic Factory is an open-source Hugging Face Space created by Julian Bilcke that generates 4-panel comics from a single text prompt. It uses a language model to write the panel beats and captions and Stable Diffusion XL-based models to draw the panels in styles like manga, American, and classic, with customizable grids, speech bubbles, and character descriptions.
It became one of the most visited demo Spaces on Hugging Face and remains free to use, with the source code public so anyone can duplicate and customize it. Third-party hosted versions such as aicomicfactory.ai and LlamaGen offer premium tiers with better character consistency and multi-page workspaces, but the original Space is the canonical free entry point.
