Aurora HDR
HDR photo editor powered by an AI Quantum HDR engine for natural bracket merging.
About
Aurora HDR is Skylum's dedicated high-dynamic-range photo editor, built around the Quantum HDR Engine: AI technology trained on thousands of bracketed photographs to merge exposures with minimal ghosting, halos, noise, and chromatic aberration. Its 2019 release brought the AI Lab-developed engine together with Smart Structure and LUT-based color grading.
Aimed at landscape, architecture, and real estate photographers, it works as a standalone app or as a plugin for Photoshop and Lightroom, handling both bracketed sets and single exposures with AI-assisted tone mapping.
What it can do
- AI Quantum HDR Engine for ghost-free bracket merging
- Single-image HDR from RAW with detail recovery
- HDR Smart Structure for texture and depth
- LUT mapping for film-style color grading
- Batch processing and non-destructive editing
