About

Awesome Android Agent Skills is a collection of 16 standardized Agent Skills that give AI coding assistants — GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Cursor — expert knowledge of modern Android development: Kotlin coroutines triage, Jetpack Compose performance audits, XML-to-Compose migration, type-safe Compose navigation, Gradle build performance, testing and automation, and more. Each skill packages SKILL.md instructions so the agent loads the right expertise on demand instead of needing long context-stuffing prompts.

The repo holds roughly 800 stars, is Apache 2.0 licensed, and is already being vendored into other agent plugin systems as a trusted upstream. Honest caveats: it covers Android only, so it is useless outside the Kotlin/Compose ecosystem, and as with any skills collection, individual skills can drift as Android tooling evolves — pin commits when vendoring.
