Cleanup.pictures
AI inpainting that removes objects, people, and text from photos.
About
Cleanup.pictures is a web-based AI inpainting tool: brush over anything unwanted — objects, people, text, watermarks, blemishes — and it reconstructs the background behind them. The free tier is unusually generous with unlimited images, but exports are capped at 720p. Pro ($5/mo or $36/yr) unlocks unlimited resolution plus a high-quality refiner.
It is single-purpose by design: no batch processing, no zoom for fine detail work, and the AI can struggle with intricate backgrounds. A usage-based API exists for developers, and uploaded images are deleted after editing rather than used for training.
What it can do
- AI object, person, text, and defect removal
- Intelligent background reconstruction (inpainting)
- Unlimited free images at 720p export
- High-quality refiner on Pro
- Usage-based API for developers
- Images deleted after editing, not used for training
Setup
- Open cleanup.pictures in a browser — no account needed for the free tier.
- Drag and drop an image (JPG, PNG, WebP, and other common formats).
- Brush over the objects, people, or text to remove.
- Let the AI inpaint the background; refine with a larger brush for shadows.
- Download (720p free; full resolution on Pro). For apps, integrate the ClipDrop Cleanup API.
