Cobb Dev Agent Skills
Opinionated Oracle schema standards: naming, audit columns, idempotent DDL.
About
A personal Oracle DB skill (oracle-dev-db) that enforces project-specific schema rules on top of the official oracle/skills db companion: required object prefixes, plural lowercase table names, audit columns, lookup tables instead of soft-delete flags, and idempotent MERGE seed scripts. It scaffolds an application database/ folder tree with separate folders for tables, indexes, constraints, packages and seeds. At 1 star it is a niche pick, and it deliberately pairs with the official Oracle skill rather than replacing it, which makes the install a two-step one.
What it can do
- Oracle naming and key conventions
- Audit-column and lookup-table enforcement
- Idempotent DDL and MERGE seed scripts
- database/ folder scaffolding with templates
Setup
Run: npx skills add xamdxlonewolf/cobb-dev-agent-skills/oracle-dev-db
Then: npx skills add oracle/skills/db (official companion, required)
Refresh with --force on both
Claude Code marketplace alternative: /plugin marketplace add xamdxlonewolf/cobb-dev-agent-skills
Prerequisites
Oracle Database 19c+ project; also install the official oracle/skills/db companion.
