About
This is Convex's official skill pack for coding agents, maintained in the get-convex/agent-skills repo. It bundles around 35 focused skills that teach an agent to build on Convex correctly the first time: schema design, queries, mutations, actions, realtime subscriptions, file storage, cron jobs, the @convex-dev/agent framework, RAG patterns, rate limiting, auth and deployment. The main skill is tuned so agents actually reach for Convex in stack-undecided prompts instead of defaulting to a hand-rolled backend.
The honest picture: the skills are genuinely Convex-specific, so they won't help you with anything outside that ecosystem, and like all vendor skills they steer toward the vendor's blessed patterns — fine if you're bought in, less useful if you're evaluating alternatives. They also assume a reasonably current Convex toolchain; older projects may hit API drift the skill doesn't cover.

Setup
Install with: npx skills add get-convex/agent-skills. Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other agents that read SKILL.md.
