Dash0

Dash0 is an observability platform built from the ground up on OpenTelemetry, founded in 2023 by Mirko Novakovic, who previously founded Instana (acquired by IBM in 2020). Its pitch is that AI is the core of the platform rather than a bolt-on: Agent0, an SRE AI agent, turns logs, metrics, and traces into guided actions, automatically creating alerts, dashboards, and pipeline rules and helping diagnose production issues. Underneath it runs the vendor's SIFT framework for filtering telemetry noise and enriching signal.

The company raised a $110M Series B led by Balderton Capital in March 2026 at a $1B valuation, bringing total funding to $155M after a $35M Series A (Accel, Cherry Ventures) and a $9.5M seed. It reports 600+ paying customers including Zalando, Taco Bell, and The Telegraph, and acquired Lumigo in February 2026 for AWS-native observability. I have not hands-on tested Agent0's autonomous remediation, so the agentic claims are provider-stated.

1. Sign up at dash0.com and deploy the OpenTelemetry-native Dash0 operator or SDK into your clusters.
2. Send logs, metrics, and traces via standard OTel collectors (no proprietary agents).
3. Let Agent0 build initial dashboards, alerts, and SIFT pipeline rules from your telemetry.
4. Wire alerts to Slack, email, or webhooks and iterate on the auto-created rules.
