.NET Skills
First-party Agent Skills collection for .NET development, with over 100 SKILL.md files.
About
.NET Skills is Microsoft's official Agent Skills repository for .NET development, published under the dotnet GitHub org. It contains over 100 SKILL.md files covering the .NET ecosystem, giving coding agents structured guidance for building, testing, and shipping .NET applications. Like other vendor skill repos it follows the open Agent Skills format, so the skills work across Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Copilot, and other skill-aware editors.
The repo sits alongside Microsoft's larger skills presence, which spans roughly 190 SKILL.md files across the microsoft org. Skill counts were verified via GitHub git-tree inspection in a July 2026 audit; the collection is actively maintained and installable through the standard skills CLIs. Developers working in C#, ASP.NET Core, or the broader .NET stack get the most value.
