Encord is an end-to-end data platform for multimodal AI teams, covering annotation, data management, curation, and model evaluation. It supports images, video, audio, text, documents, medical imaging (DICOM/NIfTI), and 3D sensor data including LiDAR point clouds, with AI-assisted labeling, automated quality assurance, and customizable review workflows.
In June 2025 it launched a Physical AI suite targeting robotics, autonomous vehicles, and drones, and its GenAI offering handles RLHF, dialog annotation, preference data, and red-teaming for LLM pipelines. It is SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliant for regulated industries. Pricing is custom enterprise plans, which makes it a poor fit for small teams that would be better served by open-source tools like Label Studio.
