Endra
Generative AI that engineers MEP systems from an architect's 3D model.
About
Endra is an agentic AI platform for MEP engineering: import an architect's 3D model and it automatically generates core mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems — outlets, switches, lighting, fire alarms, cabling, ventilation — as a code-compliant, clash-free model with documentation and calculations.
The Stockholm startup (founded 2024) raised a $50M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz in June 2026 after a $20M seed in December 2025, and works with enterprise consultancies including AtkinsRéalis, Ramboll, Buro Happold, Hoare Lea, and AFRY. It acquired Planlabs in 2026 to add mechanical-design capability.
Limitation: it is enterprise-only, pricing is not published, and MEP designs still require licensed engineers to review and stamp the output — the platform accelerates drafting, it does not replace engineering judgment.
What it can do
- Automated MEP system generation
- Code-compliant clash-free models
- Electrical engineering (Power Studio)
- Mechanical design (via Planlabs)
- Engineering documentation and calculations
Setup
- Contact Endra for an enterprise onboarding
- Import the architect's 3D model
- Let agents generate MEP systems and documentation
- Review and stamp with licensed engineers
Prerequisites
Enterprise engineering consultancy workflow; an architect's 3D model.
