env0

Autonomous cloud control plane for Terraform and IaC at scale.

About

env0 (rebranded as env zero) is a cloud control plane for managing infrastructure as code — Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Pulumi, and CloudFormation — across many teams and cloud accounts. It layers GitOps-style automation on top of existing IaC: speculative plans on every pull request, approval workflows, cost estimation, and drift detection that remediates at the IaC source rather than just flagging dashboard alerts.

The platform has pivoted its messaging toward the AI era, pitching self-service infrastructure with guardrails (RBAC, scoped variables, policy-as-code) so developers and AI agents can provision cloud resources without waiting on platform teams, while declared and discovered state stay continuously reconciled. Customer logos on the site include Western Union, PayPal, and Redis (provider-stated). env0 is commercial SaaS with enterprise tiers; its engine is not open source.

What it can do

  • GitOps automation for Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, CloudFormation
  • Speculative plans and cost estimates on pull requests
  • Drift detection with remediation at the IaC source

  • Continuous declared-vs-discovered state reconciliation
