Facetune
Lightricks' AI photo and video editor: retouch, restyle, and AI headshots.
About
Facetune is Lightricks' AI photo and video editor, evolving from the original 2013 paid selfie-retouch app into a full creative suite entry. It covers one-tap fixes and precision retouching — skin smoothing, teeth whitening, eye brightening, blemish removal, reshape tools — plus AI headshot generation, hairstyle and hair-color try-ons, makeup filters, background blur/swap, and video retouching that applies edits across entire clips.
It sits alongside Lightricks' Videoleap and Photoleap in the company's creative suite, sharing the same AI stack. The app is free to download with a subscription unlocking premium AI tools. It is the reference implementation of the AI selfie editor category, though reviewers consistently note that a light touch is essential — heavy retouching quickly looks artificial — and creators wanting non-destructive pro workflows will prefer desktop tools.
