Its AI automatically matches columns, learns data types, and validates records in real time against business rules.
In July 2025 Flatfile launched Transform, an agentic AI data preparation layer, and its AI Transform feature lets users clean and reformat datasets with natural-language prompts instead of scripts. The 2023 acquisition of ChatCSV added natural-language data analysis, and the platform offers Data Hooks, lookup fields, webhooks, and an open-source plugin library with SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance.
