FlowFrames
Free AI video frame interpolation app for smoother video and animation.
About
FlowFrames is a free, open-source donationware app by NMKD Software that interpolates video frames to increase framerate. It wraps AI interpolation models, mainly RIFE plus the older DAIN and experimental FLAVR and XVFI, in a streamlined GUI so editors and animators can retime footage or render animation at half the frames and fill in the rest.
It runs on Nvidia, AMD, and Intel GPUs, imports and exports common formats including MP4, MKV, WebM, and MOV plus image sequences, and includes scene detection, audio and subtitle preservation, and batch processing.
What it can do
- AI frame interpolation to 60, 120, or 240 fps
- RIFE, DAIN, FLAVR, and XVFI engines
- Batch processing with scene detection
- Audio and subtitle preservation
