About

Freshdesk is Freshworks' customer support platform: ticketing, live chat, phone, and social messaging in one workspace, used by tens of thousands of businesses. Its Freddy AI comes in three separately metered products: the customer-facing AI Agent, the agent-assist Copilot, and manager-facing Insights. Setup is genuinely fast and the marketplace holds over a thousand integrations, which is why small and mid-sized teams pick it over heavier enterprise suites.

The honest math: AI sessions are billed on activity, not outcomes — if Freddy tries and a human takes over, you still paid for the session. Copilot is locked to Pro and Enterprise plans, and the free tier gets no AI at all. Three meters (seats, sessions, Copilot seats) make the real monthly bill higher than any single headline number.
