Knowt
Free AI flashcards, notes, and practice tests for students.
About
Knowt is an all-in-one study app that turns notes, PDFs, lecture videos, and articles into flashcards and practice tests with one click. Its pitch is simple: the AI study features Quizlet charges for, Knowt gives away free, including unlimited Learn mode, spaced repetition, and a Chrome extension that imports Quizlet sets in one click.
It claims 7 million students and ships genuinely useful extras like AI video summaries and free AP study guides. The honest downsides: the shared content library is smaller than Quizlet's, AI quality wobbles on niche topics, and heavy AI use eventually pushes you toward the ~$5/month Pro plan.
