LibLab
SDKs-as-a-service — generates idiomatic, type-safe client libraries in 7 languages from your OpenAPI spec.
Acquired — still operating
acquired by Postman Nov 2025
About
LibLab automates the most tedious part of shipping an API: the client SDKs. Feed it an OpenAPI or Swagger spec (or Postman collection) and it generates production-quality, type-safe SDKs in TypeScript, Python, Java, .NET, Go, PHP, and Terraform that read like expert-written libraries rather than generated code. A CLI, hosted portal, and CI/CD GitHub Action keep SDKs in sync by opening pull requests against customer repos whenever the spec changes. It also generates MCP servers that expose APIs to AI agents. Postman acquired LibLab in November 2025 to complete its API lifecycle story from design through consumption.
The honest picture: the Postman acquisition is fresh, so the long-term shape of the standalone product versus the integrated Postman offering is still settling. Generated SDK quality depends heavily on spec quality — a thin spec produces thin SDKs. Teams with hand-maintained SDKs may find the generated code stylistically different enough to require a migration conversation.
