About
Lovable Cloud launched on September 29, 2025 alongside Lovable AI, adding a full managed backend to the Swedish unicorn's prompt-to-app platform. It handles databases, authentication with row-level security, file storage, and service connections automatically, so developers describe backend requirements in plain language instead of juggling dashboards and API keys. Every Lovable Cloud project is powered by Supabase under the hood.
The launch also introduced Lovable AI, which adds AI capabilities like summarization, chatbots, and image generation directly into built apps, powered by Google Gemini models in partnership with Google Cloud. The free tier covers up to $25 of monthly usage, with usage-based billing as apps scale.
