Maestro
Open-source mobile UI testing with MaestroGPT AI assistance and cloud runs.
About
Maestro, built by the mobile.dev team (formerly mobile.dev), is an open-source mobile UI testing framework under the Apache 2.0 license. Teams write end-to-end tests in human-readable YAML and run them on local iOS simulators, Android emulators, or hosted devices through Maestro Cloud.
Maestro Studio is a visual test IDE with tap-to-generate YAML and embedded emulators, featuring MaestroGPT, an AI assistant that generates test commands and answers authoring questions. Maestro MCP connects coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to live device screens so they can inspect UI hierarchy and execute flows while building features.
