Momento
Serverless cache, storage, and pub/sub primitives for cloud developers.
About
Momento is a real-time data platform that turns caching, storage, and publish-subscribe messaging into serverless cloud primitives. Developers connect with a few lines of code and never provision, size, or maintain cache infrastructure; capacity scales instantly, hot keys are managed automatically, and pricing is pay-per-use.
Founded in 2021 by former AWS DynamoDB engineering leadership (CEO Khawaja Shams built the DynamoDB business), Momento raised a $15M seed led by Bain Capital Ventures and later a $15M Series A. Beyond the serverless cache, Momento Topics offers serverless pub/sub with sequence numbers for detecting missed messages, aimed at event-driven architectures. Customers include CBS, Paramount, Taco Bell, and NTT Docomo, and a free tier covers 50 GB of traffic.
