Monosnap
Screenshot, annotate, record, and share from one menu-bar app with its own cloud.
About
Monosnap is a screenshot and screen-recording utility for Windows and macOS from Monosnap Inc., founded in 2012. It captures full screen, regions, selected windows, and scrolling windows, with an 8x magnifier for pixel-perfect crop areas and customizable hotkeys. Annotation covers pen, text, arrows, shapes, and blur, and it records screencasts with on-screen highlighting plus GIF export. Every capture can go to Monosnap's own cloud storage (2GB free with login), YouTube, or, on paid tiers, Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon S3, FTP, and WebDAV.
The free tier is for non-commercial use with basic features; Non-Commercial unlocks external integrations at about $2.50 to $3 a month, and Commercial runs about $5 per user a month. User reviews average 4.3 on G2, with occasional complaints about the Windows app freezing. There is no Linux or mobile app, and no published independent benchmarks.
