Napkin AI
Turns text into editable diagrams, infographics, and slides.
About
Napkin AI takes a paragraph, bullet list, or pasted document and generates editable visuals from it — flowcharts, timelines, mind maps, comparison tables, and full infographics. Every visual can be restyled, recolored, and edited after generation, then exported as PNG, PDF, SVG, or PowerPoint.
The free plan is genuinely usable at 500 AI credits a week, though exports carry Napkin branding. It is built for structured diagrams rather than freeform illustration, so it will not replace a designer for polished editorial graphics, and its Slides product is still maturing.
What it can do
- Text-to-diagram generation (flowcharts, timelines, mind maps, comparisons)
- Infographic and chart creation from pasted text
- AI slide generation from documents
- Unlimited visual editing and restyling
- Import from PPT, DOC, PDF, HTML, and Markdown
- PNG, PDF, SVG, and PPTX export
