Oxipit
Autonomous chest X-ray reporting, CE-certified.
Acquired — still operating
acquired by Sectra 2026
About
Oxipit (oxipit.ai), now part of Sectra after its 2026 acquisition, builds ChestLink — the first CE Class IIb certified autonomous AI for chest X-ray analysis. Within its validated scope, ChestLink identifies high-confidence normal scans and clears them from the radiologist worklist, finalizing the report without human review.
Abnormal or uncertain cases route to a radiologist as usual. The company has expanded into CT and musculoskeletal imaging. Regulatory clearance is EU-based, and the autonomous scope is deliberately narrow: normal-case triage, not full diagnostic replacement.
What it can do
- Autonomous normal chest X-ray reporting
- CE Class IIb medical device certification
- Radiologist worklist triage
- CT and musculoskeletal expansion
- Sectra Amplifier marketplace integration
Setup
- Contact Sectra/Oxipit for a radiology deployment.
- Integrate with PACS via the Sectra Amplifier marketplace.
- Validate on historical chest X-ray volume.
- Define autonomy thresholds with radiology leadership.
- Go live with monitoring of cleared vs. routed cases.
Prerequisites
Radiology department; PACS integration via Sectra.

Trust score — 7/10
Scored 7/10 (metrics tier, metrics-v1). Evidence: First CE Class IIb certified autonomous chest X-ray AI; Acquired by Sectra (2026); distributed via Amplifier marketplace; autonomous scope limited to high-confidence normal triage. Manual review: strongest regulatory moat in imaging batch; EU-focused, narrow autonomy scope. License: Proprietary; via Sectra..
