About
PlanetScale Skills is the official agent-skills repo from PlanetScale (planetscale/skills), teaching AI coding assistants to configure and get the most out of PlanetScale databases. It ships around fifteen skills covering pscale CLI automation, schema recommendations, safe orchestrators, Postgres and Vitess safety reviews, query insights and tags, traffic-control recommendations, webhook automation, and change-gate approval contracts.
The repo is MIT licensed and follows the Agent Skills open standard, so the skills install into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other agents. It is aimed at teams that want agents to make database changes with guardrails rather than raw SQL access.
