About
Presenton is an open-source AI presentation generator that runs locally or self-hosted via Docker, keeping slide content private. It generates presentations from prompts, outlines, or existing PPTX files used as design templates, with support for OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or any OpenAI-compatible provider including local models via Ollama.
It exports fully editable PowerPoint (PPTX) and PDF files rather than flattened images, and ships a REST API plus a built-in MCP server so AI agents can generate presentations programmatically. Custom HTML and Tailwind templates keep decks on brand.

Setup
Run the Docker image ghcr.io/presenton/presenton or download the desktop app; bring your own LLM API key.
