Railway
Usage-based deployment platform — connect a repo and ship apps with databases in minutes.
About
Railway is a platform-as-a-service for developers who want to ship without managing infrastructure. Connect a GitHub repo and Railway builds it (via Nixpacks or your own Dockerfile), runs it, and serves it on a generated domain; merging to main deploys to production, opening a PR spins up a preview environment, and rollbacks are one click.
One-click databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) with private networking, cron jobs, workers, environment promotion, and healthcheck-gated rollouts cover the typical webapp-plus-services stack. Pricing is usage-based and metered per second for CPU and memory: Hobby is $5/month including usage, Pro is $20/seat/month plus usage, and Enterprise is custom. Honest caveats: there is no free tier (a $5 trial credit instead), multi-region and compliance-heavy setups push toward the enterprise contract, and there are no percentage-based canary deploys out of the box.

- One-click PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis with private networking
- Usage-based per-second billing for CPU and memory
