Rootly

AI-native incident management with a dedicated AI SRE.

Visit official site →

About

Rootly is a Slack-native incident management platform (also on Microsoft Teams) built around no-code workflow automation. Its separate AI SRE product generates confidence-scored root cause analysis, surfaces similar past incidents, suggests fixes and next steps, runs an AI meeting bot for incident bridges, and shows its reasoning before you decide what to do. It covers incident response, on-call, retrospectives, and status pages in one system, with a free tier for non-paging stakeholders.

Caveats: the platform is proprietary, pricing is sales-led (reported around $20/user/month per product), and like every incident tool it depends on the quality of the telemetry feeding it — it does not do detection itself.

What it can do

  • Slack-native incident response and on-call
  • AI SRE: confidence-scored RCA, suggested fixes, meeting bot
  • No-code workflow automation
  • Automated retrospectives and analytics
  • Status pages

Setup

  1. Sign up at rootly.com and connect Slack (or Microsoft Teams).
  2. Configure on-call schedules and incident workflows with the no-code builder.
  3. Enable the AI SRE product for investigation and auto post-mortems.
  4. Run incidents from Slack; retrospectives generate automatically.

Prerequisites

A Slack or Microsoft Teams workspace; on-call team to configure.
