Seek AI
Ask questions of enterprise data in plain English; AI turns them into database queries.

About
Seek AI was a New York-based startup founded in 2021 by Sarah Nagy that built a natural-language analytics layer for enterprise data. Non-technical users could ask questions in plain English through a chatbot-like interface, and the platform translated them into database queries, returning analysis and summaries without anyone writing SQL.
The company raised around $10 million from investors including Battery Ventures, Conviction Partners, and NJP Ventures before being acquired by IBM in June 2025. Its team and technology were folded into watsonx AI Labs, IBM's New York-based AI accelerator, where the platform is being scaled for IBM enterprise clients.
