SkyReels is Kunlun Tech's AI video platform aimed at the short-drama and reels market. It integrates script-writing (SkyScript), storyboarding (StoryboardGen), 3D character generation (Sky3DGen), and video models into one pipeline that turns a simple concept into a complete reel with dialogue and background music, rendering 1080p 60fps video up to 180 seconds long.
The platform pushed toward open research with SkyReels-V1, an open-source video model for short-drama creation, and later SkyReels-V4, a unified multimodal video foundation model ranked near the top of public text-to-video leaderboards. It is the most complete example of the one-person-film-studio vision applied specifically to serialized short drama.
