SlidesAI.io

AI slide generator that works natively inside Google Slides and PowerPoint from text prompts.

About

SlidesAI.io generates complete presentations from text descriptions directly inside Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint, rather than in a separate web app. Install it from the Google Workspace Marketplace, open Extensions, type a topic or paste text, pick a theme and slide count, and the AI builds the deck in about 30 seconds — then everything remains natively editable with no export step. It supports prompts, raw text, URLs, and PDFs as input, 100+ languages, and 50+ templates.

With 14M+ installs on the Workspace Marketplace, it is one of the most-used slide generators. The free Basic plan gives a few presentations per month; Pro ($10/month billed annually) and Premium ($20/month) add more presentations, document upload, and unlimited generation. Output quality tracks input quality closely — detailed, structured briefs produce noticeably better decks than vague one-line topics.

Limitations: it is a speed-over-polish tool — designs need manual work for client-ready presentations, and image/visual asset generation is limited versus Canva or Gamma. Reviews are mixed on Trustpilot even with strong Marketplace ratings. It is best for first drafts for students, teachers, and professionals, not for final investor decks.
