Tavily Skills
Official Tavily skills — real-time search, AI research with citations, extract, crawl, site mapping.
About
The official Tavily skills (github.com/tavily-ai/skills, MIT licensed) give coding agents the full Tavily web-intelligence surface: search for real-time ranked results, research for AI-synthesized answers with citations and structured JSON output, extract for clean content from URLs, crawl for recursive site downloading as markdown, and map for URL discovery. Also includes tavily-api-expert for integration best practices and a deal-hunt skill for price comparison.
The honest picture: the skills require the Tavily CLI (tvly) alongside the skill files, so setup is two steps not one. Tavily is a paid API with a free tier — heavy research usage burns credits fast. But for factual verification with structured citations, it's one of the most reliable agent search tools available.
