CodeGeeX4

CodeGeeX4-ALL-9B is the open version of Zhipu AI's fourth-generation CodeGeeX series, continually trained on the GLM-4-9B backbone to sharpen code generation. One 9B model covers the whole software-development surface: code completion and generation, a code interpreter, web search, function calling and repository-level Q&A, with a 128K-token sequence length. The authors report highly competitive public results on BigCodeBench and NaturalCodeBench, calling it the strongest code model under 10B parameters at release, balancing inference speed with capability.

Checkpoints are on Hugging Face and ModelScope; the project is open and research-friendly, though license terms should be confirmed on the exact repo you use. CodeGeeX4 has since been overshadowed within Zhipu's own lineup by the much larger GLM-4.5/4.6/4.7 and GLM-5 coding models. Date is era-level; verify exact release if precision matters.
