CodeGeeX4-ALL-9B

CodeGeeX4-ALL-9B is the open-source flagship of Zhipu AI's fourth-generation CodeGeeX series, released in June 2024. It is a multilingual code generation model continually trained on top of GLM-4-9B, designed so that a single checkpoint can cover the full software development loop rather than just autocomplete.

A single model supports code completion and generation, a code interpreter, web search, function calling, repository-level Q&A, and code translation. Zhipu reports it as the strongest code model under 10B parameters, with competitive results on BigCodeBench and NaturalCodeBench, 128K context for long code files, near-perfect code retrieval, and over 90 percent success on function-call tests.

The weights are open under the Apache 2.0 license on Hugging Face and ModelScope, and the model powers the free CodeGeeX IDE plugin, which reports over one million individual users. It is the natural choice for teams that want an all-in-one coding assistant in one deployable checkpoint.
