Fujitsu Takane
Fujitsu's Japanese enterprise LLM, developed with Cohere.
About
Takane is Fujitsu's Japanese large language model, announced September 30, 2024, and developed in collaboration with Cohere. It is designed for enterprise use in secure private environments: specialized for industry-specific tasks and trained for Japanese, achieving world-leading results on the JGLUE benchmark at launch.
Takane was integrated into Fujitsu's generative AI services on Fujitsu Kozuchi and offered through Fujitsu Data Intelligence PaaS (DI PaaS) under the Fujitsu Uvance portfolio, alongside the company's knowledge-graph RAG and generative AI compliance-monitoring tooling. It is included here as a historical regional entry: one of Japan's early enterprise sovereign-AI plays.
