Palmyra X 004
Writer's frontier enterprise model built for tool calling and agentic actions.
About
Palmyra X 004 is Writer's frontier large language model, released in October 2024. It was trained with synthetic data via Writer's Instruct-Adapt-X pipeline, which the company says reached competitive accuracy at a fraction of the data volume used by larger labs.
The model ranked at the top of Berkeley's Tool Calling Leaderboard at launch and debuted strongly on Stanford's HELM benchmark. It ships with a 128K context window, automatic data integration, and built-in retrieval-augmented generation for enterprise deployments.
