About
RedPajama-INCITE-3B is the 3B member of Together's RedPajama model family, an effort to reproduce Meta's LLaMA as a fully open-source project usable for commercial applications. The base model has 2.8B parameters and was trained on compute from the INCITE program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, with chat and instruct variants fine-tuned on OASST1 and Dolly2.
Unlike the LLaMA models it reproduces, RedPajama ships under the Apache 2.0 license, which made it one of the first commercially usable open base models of 2023.
