About
Reka Edge is the smallest member of Reka AI's multimodal family, launched in February 2024 with 7 billion parameters. Like its larger siblings it processes text, images, video, and audio, but its size targets phones, browsers, and other constrained environments where the larger Core and Flash models are impractical.
Edge completed Reka's three tier lineup of Core, Flash, and Edge, giving developers a single API family spanning data center to device. All three models were documented in Reka's April 2024 technical report with full version histories.
