Suno v4.5 was released on May 1, 2025, for Pro and Premier subscribers as Suno's newest and most expressive music model at the time. It expanded the genre library with smarter mashups, richer vocal intonation with more emotional depth, fuller mixes, and extended song lengths up to eight minutes in a single generation.
The release added a Creative Prompt Boosting helper, upgraded Covers and Personas features, and improved prompt adherence. It was later joined by v4.5+ (July 2025, adding vocals, instrumentals, and inspiration tools) and Suno v5 (September 2025), which moved v4.5 down the stack while it remained the stable production choice.
