Tsuzumi-7B

Tsuzumi-7B is NTT's lightweight large language model for Japanese enterprise workloads, part of the tsuzumi family announced in late 2023. The 7B lightweight version sits alongside a 600M ultra-lightweight sibling, emphasizing low power consumption, low inference cost, and fast fine-tuning for domain-specific subject-matter-expert deployments.

Tsuzumi supports Japanese and English plus many more languages, handles visual and audio modalities, and runs on a single GPU. It is offered commercially through NTT channels and Microsoft's Model-as-a-Service on Azure in Japan rather than as open weights.
