Falcon 3

Falcon 3 is the third generation of open language models from the UAE's Technology Innovation Institute, released in December 2024. The family spans 1B, 3B, 7B, and 10B parameters, trained on 14 trillion tokens of curated multilingual data, with the 10B and 7B variants positioned as best-in-class among models under 13B parameters.

The release also includes a Falcon3-Mamba-7B state-space variant, and later spawned Falcon Arabic, the series' first Arabic-specialized model built on the 3-7B foundation. Falcon 3 continues TII's open-source strategy that began with the original Falcon in 2023.
